Highlights: Gambia was among the target countries for the Sub-regional Workshop to Strengthen Implementation of the Rotterdam Convention, organized in Abuja, Nigeria, on 14-16 May 2024. As Gambia was not able to attend the face-to-face sub-regional workshop, an online workshop was organized instead. Please see the website of the sub-regional workshop for more background.

Meeting objectives: To strengthen the capacities of Gambia to implement the Rotterdam Convention and to fully comply with its provisions, including the submission of missing import responses for chemicals listed in Annex III of the Convention.
Target audience: Designated National Authorities and other government representatives with a role in the implementation of the Rotterdam Convention.
