Membership of the intersessional working group

The Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention invited interested parties and observers to nominate experts for participation in the intersessional working group established to undertake the intersessional work on the process of listing chemicals in Annex III to the Convention (RC-7/5).

Parties and observers were initially requested to inform the Secretariat of their nominations by 31 July 2015. The deadline for nominations was subsequently extended by the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties to 31 March 2016. As at 31 March 2016, the group comprised 80 members from thirty-four parties, two non-parties and fourteen non-governmental organizations.
