Highlights: The Bureau of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention met on 25 October 2022. The Bureau discussed, among other things, the provisional agenda and preparations of the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention in 2023. Bureau members not able to attend the meeting in-person participated through a secure online connection.
Meeting participants: Ms. Ana Berejiani, President of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention, chaired the meeting, which was attended by the four Vice-Presidents and two ex-officio Bureau members, i.e. the Chair of the Chemical Review Committee, and Vice-chair of the Compliance Committee.

Next meeting: The bureaux of the conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions will meet on 18 and 19 January 2023 to discuss the organization of work of the meetings of the conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions taking place from 1 to 12 May 2023 in Geneva.
