A strong commitment towards the ratification and implementation of the Rotterdam Convention was signalled by Azerbaijan and an action plan for ratification has been discussed and agreed. It was also agreed that FAO can provide further support in the implementation of the Convention through strengthening the technical capacity of local experts.
