Outcome

  • All Ukrainian stakeholders to the Rotterdam Convention (RC) are informed about its benefits, the potential of synergistic implementation with Basel and Stockholm Conventions, and the support it provides in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals
  • Ukrainian DNAs are clear about their general obligations and specific shortcomings in the implementation of the RC and strongly committed to follow up on this
  • Agreed on cooperation with project managers and FAO consultant in Ukraine regarding further support for training activities within the project
