At its seventh meeting held in Geneva from 4 to 15 May 2015, the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention agreed on the decisions contained in annex I to the report of the meeting, document UNEP/FAO/RC/COP.7/21. Many of the decisions included invitations to parties and others to provide information.
The Executive Secretaries sent a letter on 6 July 2015 to parties and observers to transmit information requests contained in these decisions. The information requests are organized by decision.
Information in response to the request(s) in each decision can be transmitted separately, since the deadlines vary.
Additionally, following decision RC-7/4 to list methamidophos in Annex III to the Convention, the Secretariat sent a letter to parties circulating the Decision Guidance Document on methamidophos and inviting parties to submit import responses on methamidophos.
